Megatop completed a heavy-duty polyurethane flooring system for a food processing transfer area in Batu Pahat. The works included approximately 300 m² of 4mm thick self-smoothing PU flooring, designed to provide a seamless, durable and easy-to-maintain finish for demanding production conditions. A 100mm high mortar coving system was also installed along the wall and floor edges to improve hygiene and support easier cleaning. 4mm Heavy-Duty Self-Smoothing Polyurethane Flooring System
A heavy-duty self-smoothing polyurethane flooring system was installed at the transfer area of a food manufacturing facility to provide a durable, seamless, and easy-to-maintain surface suitable for daily production and material handling activities.
Following proper substrate assessment and surface preparation, a 4mm thick polyurethane flooring system was applied across approximately 300m² to achieve a smooth and seamless finish capable of withstanding demanding operational conditions.
The flooring system provides excellent resistance to abrasion, impact, chemicals, moisture, and general wear caused by frequent movement of personnel, equipment, and materials. Its seamless construction also helps reduce areas where dirt and contaminants can accumulate, supporting effective cleaning and hygiene management.
