3-Layer Solvent-Free High-Build Epoxy Flooring System
A solvent-free high-build epoxy flooring system was installed within the production area of a precision die-casting manufacturing facility to provide a durable, seamless, and easy-to-maintain surface suitable for light to semi-medium duty industrial operations.
Prior to the coating application, the existing concrete substrate was mechanically prepared by floor grinding to remove surface contaminants, weak laitance, and irregularities while creating the appropriate surface profile for optimum coating adhesion.
Following surface preparation, a three-layer high-build epoxy coating system was applied across approximately 1,944m² to create a smooth, seamless, and protective finish suitable for daily manufacturing activities.
The flooring system provides good resistance to abrasion, chemicals, oils, and general operational wear while helping to protect the underlying concrete substrate. Its seamless finish also allows for easier cleaning and routine maintenance within the production environment.
The completed flooring delivers reliable surface protection, improved durability, and a clean professional appearance suitable for light to semi-medium duty production areas within a precision manufacturing facility.
