The existing concrete substrate was mechanically prepared by milling and grinding to remove weak surface material, contaminants, and irregularities.
A 2mm self-smoothing epoxy cementitious moisture barrier was applied to control residual moisture and provide a stable base for the flooring system.
This was followed by a 3mm self-smoothing polyurethane screed across approximately 1,600m², providing resistance to abrasion, impact, chemicals, oils, moisture, and general operational wear.
