Floor Flatness Repair with 3mm & 5mm Heavy-Duty Self-Smoothing Polyurethane Flooring System

A comprehensive floor rectification and polyurethane flooring system was carried out within an electrical manufacturing facility to correct existing floor flatness issues and provide a durable, seamless surface suitable for racking, material handling, and industrial operations.

Within the racking driveway area, approximately 714m² of uneven flooring was treated using an epoxy repair system applied at approximately 10mm thickness. The repair works were designed to address floor level variations of approximately 10mm to 20mm, improving surface consistency for operational traffic.

Following the floor levelling treatment, heavy-duty self-smoothing polyurethane flooring systems were installed across approximately 2,389m². A 5mm thick polyurethane system was applied to designated operational areas, while a 3mm thick polyurethane system was installed below the racking areas according to the respective usage requirements.

The completed system provides excellent resistance to abrasion, impact, chemicals, moisture, and heavy operational traffic while improving floor consistency and protecting the underlying substrate.

The combination of targeted floor flatness correction and different polyurethane flooring thicknesses provides a durable and reliable flooring solution for racking, forklift movement, material handling, and demanding manufacturing operations.
